Dear Wolverine Parents,
I am writing to you today to welcome your child to the 2023-2024 school year. I am excited to have your child as part of our school community, and I am confident that they will have a successful year.
I know that the first day of school can be a time of anxiety for both parents and students. There are many new things to learn and adjust to, and it can be hard to know what to expect. However, I want to assure you that we are here to support your child every step of the way.
Our school is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where all students can thrive. We have a dedicated staff of teachers and administrators who are passionate about education and who are committed to helping your child succeed.
We know that the most important factor in a child's success is the involvement of their parents. We encourage you to be active partners in your child's education. Here are a few things that you can do to support your child:
- Communicate with your child's teacher regularly. Check Infinite Campus and ask about your child's progress, and share any concerns that you have this year.
- Help your child with any homework. This does not mean doing the work for them, but rather providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed.
- Attend school events. This shows your child that you are interested in their education and that you support their school. More information will be shared about upcoming school events!
- Be a positive role model. Show your child the importance of hard work, perseverance, and good citizenship.
I know that you are your child's first and most important teacher. Together, we can work to create a positive and productive learning environment for your child.
I am excited for the year ahead, and I look forward to working with you to help your child reach their full potential!
Respectfully,
Dr. Debra "Dr. D" Fountain
